It's done!

The dresses are ordered!!!

Hooray!!

In the end, I decided to go with the two different dress styles, both in navy. My sisters will wear the "new" style with the pleated chiffon skirt, and my future sister-in-law and my friend will wear the original style that's all satin - a strapless A-line with the belt at the waist.

(This is also a good representation of how I feel now that all the dresses are ordered!!)

My friend liked both dresses, and she really liked the color, so that was easy. My future sister-in-law called the store and gave them her measurments and sizing, so that was pretty painless as well. All went smoothly, and now we're on to the next thing - invitations!! Actually, our Save-the-Dates came in on Saturday, so I will be working on addressing and sending those out this week. Even though we should have sent these out last month or earlier, I figure better late than never! This is the part of the wedding planning that isn't quite as exciting or "fun". We pretty much have everything picked out, so now it's just making sure to take care of the details and tie up loose ends. Actually, I kind of take that back! I do have a few projects that I'm going to be working on - our guest book, putting the invitations together, escort cards and table numbers..... some of those projects will be fun too!

I still can't believe that we're getting married in a little over 3 months! The time has gone by really really quickly.

Our weekend went well, in addition to ordering the dresses. Chris was home from last Wednesday night until this morning, so it was really nice to have him around for what seemed like such a long time! We just hung out with friends all day Saturday, and Sunday we went to my parents to help my youngest sister move back in. She's starting the MBA program at TCU (go Frogs!!) this fall, and moved back up from Houston this weekend. Even though it was hard work and hot weather, I know my Dad really appreciated Chris and I coming over to help. There was a time when all he had was 3 girls! Not that we can't help (because we have!), but I know he's grateful for the extra set of "man" hands!! ;-)

Have a great Monday!

Oh good, must be a big relief to tick bridesmaid's dresses off your list!
