Yay!

I usually try not to post the same thing as I do over at Elizabeth Anne Designs, but I couldn't help it today! My dress fitting went well yesterday! Everything fit well, and there's only a couple things she needs to do - shorten it only a little bit and take in the top. Sadly, it's only the top that needs taken in...

The good news is that I can get away with wearing the "comfier" shapewear option, the one-piece slip looking one. Will be much easier to, umm, manage with on the big day, you know... when nature calls.... versus the scary bike-shorts that come up to right under your bra. Yeah, those would suck.
Even with the shapewear, I think I have 1) some more sucking-in to do and 2) some more sit-ups to do. Other than that, I was really really pleased! My question comes to the veil. It's one that I could borrow if I wanted. It matches, but I'm just not sure. Is it long enough?? Should I get one that has a rounded bottom? I just don't know. This one is free... and I'm only wearing it to the ceremony... With the veil, I'll also have a large flower in my hair.

Of course I took some pictures! Here they are:

So, what do you think of the veil??

I am soooooooooo glad that it fits! And with 2 months left to go, I think I could slim down just a little bit - enough to really make it look great! The key is getting my butt to the gym!

I'm really glad it's Friday!! Hope you all have great weekends!

Honey I say go with the free veil! It sounds like you won't be wearing it a whole bunch and think what you can do with the money you save. I'm all about cutting corners wherever possible.

Fantastic, you look amazing!

I'd say go with the free veil too. Unless you have a really strong idea of what you want, why waste money on it?

You look so beautiful!!! I love your dress! And I agree with the other ladies, definitely go with the free veil, I think it looks great with the dress and your only wearing to the ceremony anyway...no need in spending the extra money!

I don't know if you'd want a longer veil anyway. It'd probably cover up some of the detail on the back.

As for losing weight, not sure why you think you need to. You look great in that dress now.

You look fantastic! I know some of those shapewear items come with slits so going potty isn't such a big deal. You might want to take a look now in case you need to wear one.
