Agri-art

I found these shots over at the Style-Files and thought they were just so cool!! Tulip fields! Just amazing. Had to share.

**On a side note, our foster dog was adopted out to a wonderful home last Saturday. While we were sad to see her go and will miss her (because, seriously, she was an awesome awesome dog!), we were so glad that she's getting such a great permanent home! Tonight we are possibly getting our next foster dog, a poodle mix. I'm hopeful and keeping my fingers crossed that this one will work out as well as the last one did. More details tomorrow.

Those are really neat! If you didn't tell us it was tulips, I would have thought that someone photoshopped some farmers' fields pretty colours.

It's kinda cool sometimes even just seeing aerial shots of fields in mid summer when they're criss crossed with soy beans and corn creating a pattern.

I had no idea there were so many blue Tulips though. It's also kinda funny since tulips are not native to the Netherlands at all (if I remember right they're from somewhere in the Mideast) and they require a lot of work to grow even there.

It's just about tulip festival time here. I hope we go this year.
