Fall colors

It's finally starting to feel like fall around here.
It's too bad we don't get quite the color show that other parts of the country get.

Right now, this is my desktop wallpaper - I love it. Can you imagine driving down this road like this?

You don't really see covered bridges in Texas. This one is beautiful. Maybe this is what the one in Sleepy Hollow looks like.

Snow mixed in with fall leaves?? This is definitely not Texas.

This is what I feel like doing today, when it's rainy and kind of cold!
I found this cuteness over on Etsy. My chihuahua would love it.

Thank you for your kind words yesterday. I feel better today as last night I was able to sort out, organize, and de-clutter our medicine cabinet, as well as under our sinks! That gave me a big sense of accomplishment. I know everyone gets down once in a while, but I try to remember how lucky I am in the grand scheme of things. And some of the internet connections I've made on here are part of why I can feel so lucky. Thanks :-)

I don't think we're gonna have much pretty colors this year. The leaves have just started to kinda turn and we're facing snow and a frost tomorrow.

Damn you weather!

We don't get many of those fall colors here either. Most of our trees are evergreen so they lose their needles. My car will be covered with them in a few weeks.
Glad you're better today.

We get a lot of those fall colors on the east cost, in fact I recognize at least one or two of those photos as I have them on my computer (one of the is VT-my hubby's hometown). We're doing anniversary photos next week on our anniversary day and I'm hoping that the fall colors will have kicked in full force by then. They are just starting now so I'm worried they're going to kick the week after we take the photos. Fall is my favorite time of the year, I just love it.

We're having spectacular colours this year! One tree is such a glorious red that it's almost a fuschia pink. And in our backyard are some beautiful golden oranges.

And I think Vermont and maybe Maine (in your country) and New Brunswick (in my country) are where the most of the covered bridges are located ... which isn't saying much because there are only a handful of them left.
