Baby Steps

It's going to take a while to sort through all of this, but we did make some progress!

Okay, so the couch is still camoflaged by crap, but the bookcases are in place. And one has been filled up.

You'll notice that you can now see the top of the desk!

Progress, people! Progress!

We also played with some paint. Chris wants green - like "golf" and "country clubs" and "the Fox and the Hound" (a pub). So he chose really really dark greens. I am trying to steer him towards gray. Or at least not so dark green.

So, it continues...

gray gray gray!! : ) I've just been loving gray lately. (Who hasn't!) But I totally understand it might take a little to convince hubby! Good luck!

trade: say you'll get him a little putting green for his office if he lets you paint the walls gray

Yea! Progress!
Love the gray. He can have green accents. Those greens will make the room dark and small.

Boops is on to something...thinking that is great advice...and go team gray!

My friend re-did her basement last year, and they chose a grey-green. It's darker than I'd pick, but by no means is it dark. Maybe the "darkness" of the colour in the top row of your paint trials, middle trial. I didn't think I'd like it, but I have to say, it looks great. So maybe that would be a compromise?

Oh, and the progress is great!!!

Yay for progress! My philosophy is that as long as things are moving along, then it's all good. :)

I should probably take a page from your book and clean out our office as well!
