Decorating with Plates

Lately, I've been keeping my eyes open for some plates like this to decorate a wall in our dining area:

I love the look of plates grouped together on the wall. So simple and easy.

They can work in bookcases and hutches too.

What do you think? Are you a fan of this look?

And, more importantly, do you happen to know where I can find some inexpensive plates like the first picture in green/white?? (I've already checked with HomeGoods...)

Wall Murals

I saw these referenced in a story from Kelly+Olive's site... how cool are they? You can custom size the mural or print to whatever you want.

Cool way to fill up a big empty wall.

Current Obsession

Right now, I'm kind of obsessed with these:

I saw the above picture over at Nibs last summer, and it's just stuck with me. I love the look of these grouped together! They would look great on a mantel or console, either plain as they are, or holding some flowers or branches.




I don't know that I'd really want to invest a lot of money into them, but the 3 above are real antique silver from here .

I guess I need to make a trip to Canton sometime!
